Students will have homework each evening, Monday through Thursday. There may be an occasional weekend assignment as well.
Continued review of basic multiplication and division facts is required. Although working on 5th grade objectives, students are being given grade 4's quarterly facts assessments to ensure those skills have been mastered. Families should have received results from the Grade 4 Quarter 1 Facts Assessment in Friday Folders (orange slip of paper attached to first graded written response). Students need 45 correct out of 50 multiplication and division facts to be considered proficient with each quarter's facts.
